Kenny Omega Vs Christian Cage Reportedly Closing All Out 2021

Kenny Omega Vs Christian Cage Reportedly Closing All Out 2021

A new report has revealed which match is expected to close tonight’s (September 5) All Out 2021 pay-per-view, airing from the NOW Arena in Illinois.

Since it was announced that CM Punk would make his wrestling return on tonight’s show, fans have speculated whether or not CM Punk vs Darby Allin will headline the show. As per Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Punk’s first AEW match will not close the show.

Meltzer stated that Kenny Omega vs Christian Cage for the AEW World Championship will be the final match of the night.

Every AEW All Out event so far has been main-evented by an AEW World Title match. Chris Jericho was crowned the inaugural champ during the 2019 show, while Moxley defended against MJF in 2020.

Earlier today, Meltzer reported that people within AEW expect tonight’s event to ‘destroy’ the promotion’s existing pay-per-view buy record.

It is also expected that former WWE Champion Daniel Bryan will make his AEW debut at All Out.

Here is the announced line-up for the show:

  • Kenny Omega vs. Christian Cage – AEW World Championship
  • Britt Baker vs. Kris Statlander – AEW Women’s World Championship
  • The Young Bucks vs The Lucha Brothers – AEW Tag Team Championship
  • Miro vs Eddie Kingston – AEW TNT Championship
  • Chris Jericho vs MJF – If Jericho loses, he will never wrestle for AEW again.
  • CM Punk vs. Darby Allin
  • Paul Wight vs. QT Marshall
  • Jon Moxley vs. Satoshi Kojima
  • Women’s Casino Battle Royale – Winner receives a shot at the AEW Women’s World Championship
  • Chuck Taylor, Wheeler Yuta, Orange Cassidy, and Jurassic Express vs. Matt Hardy, TH2, and Private Party (Buy In)
