There has been a match made official for LA Knight at the upcoming WWE premium live event, WWE Payback.
After giving a heartfelt tribute to Bray Wyatt interwoven with a promo against his current rival, The Miz, LA Knight featured in WWE SmackDown’s main event tonight.
During the SmackDown main event featuring LA Knight taking on Finn Balor, a match for Knight was officially announced for WWE Payback.
After continuing their feud, LA Knight will get his chance in the ring against The Miz at the September 2 premium live event.
Also announced earlier on SmackDown for Payback was Rey Mysterio defending the United States Championship against Austin Theory.
In addition to that, announced on tonight’s WWE SmackDown for Payback, an edition of the Grayson Waller Effect featuring the American Nightmare, Cody Rhodes.
Also set for WWE Payback, a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match between champion Seth Rollins and challenger Shinsuke Nakamura, a steel cage match between Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus as well as Rhea Ripley defending her WWE Women’s World Championship against Raquel Rodriguez.
