Lacey Evans Next Move Revealed After WWE Departure WWE

The next project for Macey Estrella, formerly known as Lacey Evans, has now been revealed, following her departure from WWE.

Following numerous teases from Estrella herself, it was revealed that the former WWE star is no longer with the company.

With numerous sources reporting on her departure on August 16, WWE then moved her profile to the alumni section of WWE.com, effectively confirming her exit.

Estrella’s next project won’t be in wrestling, with the athlete now preparing to open a cafe in Beaufort, SC.

The ex-WWE name spoke about her plans with Your Island News, noting:

“I thought I could be of more assistance fighting a different fight than in the WWE ring.

“I want to focus on helping my community to fight against addiction and fight on the mental health side to normalize mental health issues.”

Aiming to offer more than just food and beverages, Estrella is hopeful that her establishment will be used by community organizations including Alcoholics Anonymous, with Estrella planning to offer these organizations a meeting place as well as free coffee and donuts.

Estrella also plans to host classes for women and military spouses on important skills necessary for them to get jobs and ‘follow their goals and aspirations.

The cafe will be called the Sunny Summers Cafe, inspired by her daughters Sunny and Summer.

Estrella will open the establishment on August 21 (Monday). It was noted that opening this cafe has been ‘two years in the making’ for Estrella, indicating that she had been working on plans for the cafe way before her WWE exit.

Both PWInsider and Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio have reported that Estrella’s departure was due to a contract expiry.

That means Evans won’t have a non-compete clause and is a free agent available to work anywhere as of right now.
