Former WWE stars Lana and Nia Jax have both announced they will be returning to in-ring competition after several months away from wrestling.
The two women will face off in a singles match to crown the inaugural Wrestling Entertainment Series (WES) Women’s World Champion. WES is a promotion created by former WWE stars The Authors of Pain.
Nia Jax’s final match for WWE was on September 20, 2021, while Lana last wrestled on an episode of Raw at the end of May 2021.
Several other former WWE stars will be on the card, with Adam Scherr (Braun Strowman), Authors of Pain, Westin Blake (Wesley Blake), Steve Maclin (Steve Cutler), Karrion Kross, Samuray Del Sol (Kalisto), JONAH (Bronson Reed), Deonna Purrazzo, Chelsea Green, Tenille Dashwood (Emma), Dean Muhtadi (Mojo Rawley), Lince Dorado and Dirty Dango (Fandango) all on the show.
The debut WES show will take place on July 4 at the Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham, England. The show will be available on Fite.
