WWE Star Calls Out Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan: ‘I Don’t See Her Defending That Title’

A WWE NXT star has called out Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan, noting that she wants to tell her to put her title on the line.

With Karmen Petrovic currently appearing across NXT, Evolve and AAA, the former karateka has expressed interest in facing off against a top Raw star.

Speaking on the Battleground Podcast, Petrovic commented on the possibility of a title match against Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan.

When asked about her dream opponent, Petrovic responded:

“Right now, first person off the top of my head, Liv Morgan. I don’t see her defending that title so I’d love to step up and be like ‘Alright girl, put it on the line.’ I’m working across all brands, let’s go.”

Karmen Petrovic is a member of the reformed Los Perros Del Mal faction in AAA, with Petrovic, Angel, Berto, Bronco Nima and Daga coming together in late-June, and Damian 666 since joining the group.

It did take a while for Liv Morgan to defend her gold on TV, with her first televised Women’s World Championship defense taking place over 100 days into her reign.

Morgan has defended the title three times, the first two occasions were on non-televised house shows in June.

Her first championship defense in front of WWE cameras took place at SummerSlam, with the champion defeating Queen of the Ring winner IYO SKY.

Liv Morgan became Women’s World Champion at WrestleMania 42, with the Royal Rumble winner defeating Stephanie Vaquer for the gold.

With Stephanie Vaquer’s recent WWE Raw return, she and Morgan have already butt heads.

Regardless of whatever happens in between the ropes, the rest of the year will be huge for Morgan, with Bad Lieutenant Tokyo – a movie she has a starring role in – set to premiere at the Toronto Film Festival.
