Main Event Of WWE Raw Madison Square Garden Return Revealed

The main event for WWE’s upcoming return to Madison Square Garden has now been revealed.

The July 25 edition of WWE Raw is slated to emanate from The Garden, the Raw go-home show for SummerSlam 2022 on July 30.

The MSG.com website is now advertising Riddle vs Seth ‘Freaking’ Rollins as the headline match for the taping. It is unclear whether this bout is planned for the live broadcast, or if it will be a dark main-event.

Other stars advertised for the event include WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, Smackdown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey, Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair, Becky Lynch, Bobby Lashley, The Street Profits, AJ Styles and Theory, who oddly isn’t listed as US Champion on the site.

It is worth noting, as with all WWE shows, the card is subject to change.

Riddle will challenge for Roman Reigns’ gold on SmackDown. This will be Reign’s first title defense since unifying the WWE and Universal championships at WrestleMania 38 in April.

One top star who won’t be competing at the show is Cody Rhodes, who is expected to be out of action for nine months following successful surgery for his torn pectoral muscle. Rhodes has now been spotted at the Nightmare Factory following his recent surgery.
