Major Change To AEW Revolution Match Update

Major Change To AEW Revolution Match Update AEW

After concern for a major change coming to the AEW Revolution card, an update on the AEW World Championship match.

On tonight’s episode of Dynamite, the question of whether or not Hangman Adam Page was injured and unable to compete at the upcoming pay-per-view, AEW Revolution was answered.

Tony Khan confirmed that there would be no change to the expected pay-per-view three-way, writing on Twitter during the show:

“As you saw tonight on Wednesday Night #AEWDynamite, Hangman Page is not injured, and the AEW World Title 3 Way Match, Hangman vs @swerveconfident vs AEW World Champion @SamoaJoe, is ON for this Sunday’s #AEWRevolution ppv!”

The title match is set to proceed as originally planned with Samoa Joe putting his World Championship on the line against Swerve Strickland and Hangman Adam Page.

Page’s injury was actually a storyline all along, designed to cover for a potential “personal” issue that may have prevented him from working Revolution, but evidently, that’s not the case and he is available.

AEW Revolution is set for Sunday, March 3 and will also feature the final match of legendary icon, Sting.
