UPDATE – The real reason Edge was kicked out of Judgment Day appears to have been revealed – read more here.
An update has emerged on Edge’s WWE status after being kicked out of his Judgment Day faction on WWE Raw.
On Monday’s show, Edge welcomed Finn Balor into the group, before Balor, Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest attacked the Rated-R Superstar.
Many fans speculated that this was to turn Edge face, while some theorised that the implosion might’ve been to write Edge off of WWE TV altogether.
Per PWInsider, Edge has been officially moved to the babyface side of the roster internally.
Edge notably turned heel in February, during the build to his WrestleMania 38 match against AJ Styles. Priest aligned himself with Edge at WrestleMania, and Ripley joined the group at WrestleMania Backlash.
This status change comes after Cody Rhodes tearing his pectoral muscle ahead of Hell in a Cell. While Rhodes still wrestled at the premium live event, he was seemingly written off of TV on Raw after being ambushed by Rollins.
Edge was also in action at Hell in a Cell, with his Judgment Day faction defeating Balor, AJ Styles and Liv Morgan.
