While injury continues to plague the upcoming AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view, NJPW has announced one of their top stars is injured and will be replaced at the event.
A major change is coming to the four-way match for the inaugural winner of the AEW All-Atlantic Championship as NJPW has announced that Tomohiro Ishii has suffered a left knee injury and will be out of competition for the upcoming pay-per-view event.
NJPW has announced Clark Connors as his replacement.
Now scheduled to face Clark Connors are AEW stars Pac, Miro, and Malakai Black to determine the first winner of the newly unveiled All Elite Wrestling All-Atlantic Championship.
Multiple other major titles remain on the line at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door including the Interim AEW World Heavyweight Championship match between Jon Moxley and Hiroshi Tanahashi.
NJPW also has titles on the line such as the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship match between champion Jay White taking on formidable foes in Kazuchika Okada, Adam Cole, and Hangman Adam Page.
