Major Changes Potentially Coming Soon To AEW AEW

There could be major changes coming soon to All Elite Wrestling – find out the latest scoop on AEW’s partnership with Warner Brothers Discovery.

With AEW continuing to make waves within the professional wrestling industry, capturing unprecedented mainstream attention and revenue within its foundational years, an update on the continued negotiations between AEW and Warner Brothers Discovery (WBD).

According to a new report from Fightful Select, the negotiation process between Warner Brothers Discovery, the parent company of the networks that air AEW (TBS and TNT), and AEW are already “deep” in the process.

Fightful confirmed via WBD sources that AEW has continued to be involved in television rights extensions talks for the past months and there is now a potential end in sight.

According to the source, they personally believe an announcement could come as early as this Summer or Fall of a deal being reached.

The WBD sources also noted that the company has been pleased with AEW including the flexibility in scheduling, adding and subtracting shows, as well as working with preemptions.

While WBD does have plenty of influence over the product including cross branding promotions with other WBD properties, it was also noted that AEW had been “really flexible” in responding to WBD requests.

For all this goodwill, it is anticipated that AEW could see a huge benefit to the company in terms of cold hard cash.

As the source speaking to Fightful reiterated that there is likely a “huge money increase for AEW, by the way things are looking now.”

The broadcast situation for All In at London’s Wembley Stadium, which still hasn’t been announced, has reportedly been included in these talks as well.
