Major News On Roman Reigns’ Next Opponent

Major News On Roman Reigns’ Next Opponent WWE

A major update has emerged on Roman Reigns’ next opponent, following his Clash At The Castle victory.

At the September 3 UK premium live event, Reigns defeated Drew McIntyre with an assist from Solo Sikoa to retain his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

Kevin Owens has since teased that he’ll be the next star to challenge for Reigns’ gold, however this reportedly won’t be the case.

Per Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, neither Owens or Seth Rollins are scheduled to face Roman Reigns in his next title bout.

Noting that Reigns’ won’t be in action at next month’s Extreme Rules event, Meltzer wrote:

“Reigns is not on Extreme Rules on 10/8 in Philadelphia, and his next major match is on the Saudi Arabia show. I was told it’s not Seth Rollins or Kevin Owens, even though both have teased it and based on build one would expect those two matches at some point.”

Solo Sikoa, notably the younger brother of The Usos, has now officially been moved to the main roster internally, following his Clash At The Castle surprise appearance.

Following the Tribal Chief retaining his gold at the event, Drew McIntyre and Tyson Fury sang together in a confusing segment before the show went off the air. The reason for this bizarre segment has now been revealed.
