To close the ‘season premiere’ branded edition of WWE Raw tonight (October 16), a major title change occurred.
In the main event of tonight’s WWE Raw, Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes put their Undisputed Tag Team Championship on the line against the former champs, Judgment Day (Finn Balor and Damian Priest).
After an action filled match saw Priest send Rhodes through the commentary table, Jey Uso was left on his own to try and fend off the challengers.
However it would prove to be his own twin brother, Jimmy Uso, who would make a surprise appearance to deliver a Superkick to Jey, effectively costing him the match.
Finn Balor was able to capitalize and pick up the pinfall victory.
To close the show, Judgment Day stood tall as they have all finally reclaimed their championship gold at the same time while Sami Zayn was at the side of Cody Rhodes.
Jimmy Uso for his part remained near the scene, smirking at his handiwork while Kevin Patrick (on the call tonight after a rare Michael Cole absence) noted a chilling thought.
“The ghosts of Jey Uso’s past continue to haunt him,” he said to close the show on images of both a triumphant Judgment Day faction and a dejected Jey, Rhodes and Zayn.
