Matches Confirmed For 100th Episode Of WWE Show WWE

WWE has confirmed the three matches for the 100th episode of NXT Level Up, which airs tonight – January 12, 2024 – after SmackDown.

Level Up debuted on February 18, 2022, replacing 205 Live as the NXT brand’s “b-show”.

At that point, 205 Live had already done away with the 205-pound cruiserweight weight limit, so the 205 Live name had to be replaced, hence the rebranding to NXT Level Up.

The likely main event for tonight’s Level Up is actually a callback to the first ever episode, with that being Joe Gacy vs Javier Bernal.

Back when the rebranding from 205 Live to Level Up happened, the storyline explanation was that Gacy called for the change in the interest of inclusivity instead of keeping the name that excluded people over 205 pounds.

The first match on the first episode of Level Up saw Gacy’s henchman at the time, Harland (Parker Boudreaux), take on Bernal, so Gacy vs Bernal being on the 100th episode is a callback to that.

Also confirmed for tonight is Amari Miller, who recently returned from a long-term injury, against Jaida Parker.

Parker looks likely to become a new member of Out The Mud based on her interaction with the group on this past Tuesday’s episode of NXT TV.

And finally, Joe Coffey vs Tavion Heights is the third match set for Level Up tonight.

All three matches were taped this past Tuesday before that night’s episode of NXT TV went on the air.

Level Up airs weekly on Fridays at 10pm ET on the WWE Network/Peacock.
