A big change was made to the All Out pay-per-view card on last week’s Dynamite, when it was revealed that AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa was out of action with an injury.
This came at a time when most of AEW’s major injuries were coming to an end, with CM Punk, Kenny Omega and Bryan Danielson all making their returns on recent Dynamite shows.
However, the women’s division appears to be undergoing it’s own injury crisis, with Thunder Rosa and Kris Statlander both out of action.
Well, it turns out that Thunder Rosa isn’t the only women’s champion in AEW out with an injury, as Tony Khan revealed on the pre-All Out media scrum today that ROH Women’s Champion Mercedes Martinez is also out of action with an injury.
Martinez last wrestled for the company at the ROH Death Before Dishonor event on July 23, where she retained her championship against Serena Deeb.
