Former WWE Star Discusses One Of The Scariest Things To Tell A Wrestler WWE

A former WWE star has discussed one of the scariest things to tell a wrestler.

At IMPACT Hard To Kill in January 2023, Mickie James defeated Jordynne Grace to finish her “Last Rodeo” storyline, keep her career alive and win the Knockouts World Championship.

Unfortunately, her reign was abruptly ended when she suffered a rib injury that forced her to relinquish the title ahead of IMPACT Rebellion.

After a few months away from in-ring action, James recently made her return at an independent event earlier this month.

On the latest episode of GAW TV, Mickie James discussed taking time off and how she believes it is one of the scariest things to tell a wrestler. She said:

“Isn’t that crazy that’s one of the scariest things to tell a wrestler, just take the time off, it’s okay?”

“In our minds we think it’s not okay because we think we are going to miss an opportunity, we are going to miss our spot, they’re going to write us off TV, then you’re going to have to find a way to bring me back to TV. Especially when you’re in the mix of a lot of things.”

Admitting that it is the worst time to get injured when you’re on a roll, but she now uses her experience as one of the veterans of the locker room to help others in that situation, Mickie said:

“We’ve all been hurt before, it sucks,”

“I try to tell that to people too, ‘Don’t worry about it, it’s fine, you’ll see, maybe you needed the time off.'”
