One of the most imposing wrestlers on the AEW roster has joked about not being used on TV in a response to a fan’s music video.
Having been released in April 2020, Miro would join AEW in September of that year.
He would become part of the Kip Sabian/Penelope Ford storyline, being revealed as “The Best Man”.
This alliance would last until the April 28 2021 episode of AEW Dynamite, where Miro would attack Kip Sabian, writing the latter of TV.
From there, Miro would win the AEW TNT Championship as part of his feud with Darby Allin until he would lose it to Sammy Guevara in September, 2021.
He would make sporadic appearances, including a loss to Bryan Danielson at AEW Full Gear in 2021.
After a hiatus from the ring due to a hamstring injury, Miro would return in June, 2022 to beat Johnny Elite (John Hennigan).
Since his three matches in June, he has made one further AEW appearance, teaming with Darby Allin and Sting to take on the House of Black in September.
Miro has previously expressed his dissatisfaction with his lack of TV, venting his frustration on Twitter.
On November 13, he once again expressed his opinion on his lack of TV time, saying “remember that guy?” in response to a music video demonstrating the “monster” that is Miro:

With a deep (and expanding) roster, Tony Khan has a lot of options at his disposal for who to feature in prominent roles on his various shows.
CJ Perry would comment on the situation and how both WWE and AEW do business in the October 25 edition of Busted Open Radio.
