MJF Comments After Incredible Kenny Omega Match AEW

MJF has posted his first comments since his incredible AEW World Championship match with Kenny Omega on AEW Collision.

With a match that many had been long clamouring for, MJF and Omega faced off for the first time in singles competition in the main event of Collision from Uncasville, CT.

With Omega not only looking to win his second world title in AEW but also importantly seeking to prevent Friedman from breaking his own 346 day reign as champion, the stakes were as high as they could be.

However, following a 30 minute bout it was MJF who retained, with Omega showing respect and raising the champ’s hand after the bell.

Following this MJF took to Twitter to post his first comments, where he thanked the fans while also looking ahead to AEW’s next pay-per-view Full Gear on November 18.

MJF said:

Thank you.

I’m tired.

You’re next Jay.

Glaringly absent from the celebrations was of course the title itself, which is still in the possession of MJF’s Full Gear challenger ‘Switchblade’ Jay White.

However, that may not stay that way for long as Friedman has a chance to reclaim his lost property on the upcoming November 1 edition of AEW Dynamite.

On the show, MJF will take on Bullet Club Gold in eight-man tag action, with the champ still yet to decide his three partners for the match, despite both Roderick Strong & The Kingdom and The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn offering up their services.
