First Entrant In AEW Grand Slam World Title Eliminator Tournament Revealed AEW

On tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite, two developments regarding the next time fans will see MJF defend the AEW World Championship.

First in a locker room segment with Adam Cole after their main event match at AEW All In, MJF informed Cole that he was going to be defending their ROH Team Team Title alongside his Brochacho at AEW All Out and reserving the next AEW World Championship match for Grand Slam.

He went on to add that Tony Khan told him there was going to be a World Title Eliminator Tournament to find out who would get the next shot at MJF at the upcoming Arthur Ashe Stadium show, AEW Grand Slam.

Later in the show, Adam Cole came to the ring to greet the crowd and talk about the success of AEW All In, but as he was about to pivot to what he wanted to talk about, he was interrupted.

Roderick Strong and The Kingdom (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett) cut a passionate promo on Cole about how he is not a good friend.

Calling him a liar and a leech, they continued to refuse to believe that Adam Cole was actually best friends with MJF.

Then Roderick Strong told Cole that he was going to take down MJF by entering the Grand Slam World Title Eliminator Tournament, winning the tournament and then beating MJF at Grand Slam.
