Another notable WWE name is set to miss Saturday’s (November 5) Crown Jewel premium live event.
As previously reported, Sami Zayn is not travelling over for Crown Jewel. Zayn has not been at any of WWE’s previous visits to Saudi Arabia for reasons you can read more about right here.
PWInsider now reports that Raw star MVP will not appear on the upcoming premium live event.
MVP is notably the manager of Omos, who will battle Braun Strowman at Crown Jewel. MVP has been involved with the match build, mostly acting as Omos’ mouthpiece to promote the special attraction bout.
Many are viewing the upcoming bout as one of the top matches of the night, with Strowman recently comparing the match-up to Hulk Hogan vs Andre The Giant.
Many top names have already shared photos from Saudi Arabia, including Bayley, who is slated to challenge for Bianca Belair’s Raw Women’s Championship match in a Last Woman Standing bout.
Logan Paul’s brother Jake Paul has also confirmed that he is in Saudi Arabia ahead of Logan Paul’s Undisputed WWE Universal Championship bout against Roman Reigns.
As previously reported, the Wall Street Journal published a report detailing Saudi Arabia sharing intelligence of a warning of imminent attack from Iran in the country. Fightful Select (subscription required) now reports that WWE remains on ‘high alert’ amid attack concerns.
