Multiple names have officially been added to the WWE main roster following last night’s New Years Revolution episode of SmackDown.
Last night’s show was noteworthy for a number of reasons, including Roman Reigns being set to defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Randy Orton, AJ Styles and LA Knight in a Fatal Four-Way match at the Royal Rumble.
The show also saw returns and a debut, with former Raw and NXT Tag Team Champions AOP returning to the company alongside Paul Ellering, aligning with Karrion Kross and Scarlett.
Akam and Rezar jumped Bobby Lashley and the Street Profits in the ring, marking their first appearance on WWE TV in almost four years.
The return came after AOP had been re-signed to WWE for over a year, but were yet to make their return to television.
The debut came in the form of Tyler Bate, who finally moved up to WWE’s main roster after 7 years, being Butch’s partner in his match against Pretty Deadly.
Following the show, Bate, Ellering, Akam and Rezar have all been officially added to WWE’s roster page on WWE.com, as members of the SmackDown brand.
SmackDown also recently saw Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo return to the brand, aligning with Santos Escobar.
