A new championship match was announced tonight on AEW Collision (October 21) with a passionate promo later in the night.
Eddie Kingston’s next opponent for the Ring of Honor World Championship has been revealed on tonight’s AEW Collision after a Memphis street fight.
Tonight’s Collision played host to Jeff Jarrett vs Eddie Kingston with the stipulation that if Jarrett could beat Kingston, Jay Lethal would get a future title shot at Kingston’s ROH World Title.
After a bloody match between Jarrett and Kingston, voiced by Memphis legend Dave Brown who joined commentary for the match, it would be Jarrett who emerged with the victory.
This made Jay Lethal’s future title shot against Kingston official however a date was not yet confirmed.
Later in a locker room segment, a bloodied Eddie Kingston cut a passionate promo about the future battle, referring to Jay Lethal by his real name Jamar.
Elsewhere on tonight’s show, the return of a faction as they seemed to target numerous new feuds on AEW Collision.
