WWE/NFL
NFL players appearing in WWE is certainly nothing new with Lawrence Taylor, Rob Gronkowsi, Pat McAfee and recently George Kittle all making significant splashes at WrestleMania in years gone by.
WWE may have another NFL crossover available to them if the Kansas City Chiefs’ Travis Kelce is to be believed.
Speaking to TMZ Sports Kelce would open up about his desire to follow in George Kittle’s footsteps and appear on WWE TV in the near future.
Kelce would reflect on Kittle’s Mania antics, saying:
“My guy George Kittle was at WrestleMania throwing clotheslines left and right, man,
“It was awesome to see him go nuts.”
Kelce would even reveal that talks about making an appearance happen have even taken place between himself and typical WWE celebrity gatekeeper The Miz.
Kelce told TMZ that he ‘hit up’ The Miz regarding a future role, and when asked on if his WWE debut was impending Kelce would respond:
“Hopefully, we can brew something into fruition here.”
The Miz has often been WWE’s go-to for most celebrity appearances for a while now, teaming with and then facing Logan Paul in his first two matches as well as taking on both Pat McAfee and Snoop Dogg at WrestleMania 39.
Despite playing an unlikable heel character for the majority of his WWE career, The Miz would recently come across his number one fan at a recent WWE live event in Manchester, to view the heartwarming moment click here.
