Crazy Cost Of Will Ospreay’s Ring Jacket Revealed

Will Ospreay has some of the most distinctive ring gear in the wrestling business, in particular his iconic ring jackets.

Good quality ring gear, naturally, costs money and Ospreay recently spoke about the staggering cost of just one of his jackets.

Speaking on The Sessions with Renee Paquette, Ospreay revealed:

“The one that I can’t believe we ended up getting that was like, one of these crazy coincidences, but [his designer] knew someone that worked in, like, Versace.

“Justin Bieber wore a Versace outfit … in [Drake’s] music video, he was wearing, like, specific Versace and [his designer] found that fabric and was able to make a coat out of it.

“So, like, most of the coats are like, the Assassin Creed ones are like two grand a pop, the Versace one that we dropped at Forbidden Door, that was 10K.”

Ospreay would defeat Orange Cassidy to retain the IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion at the event in June 2022.

Whilst in conversation with Paquette, Ospreay would also reveal that he had spent $10,000 on a ring jacket for a match against Kazuchika Okada.

The now-former IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion also opened up about the advice offered to him by William Regal whilst in AEW.

Ospreay lost the championship to Kenny Omega at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17 in a match that Dave Meltzer would award six and a quarter stars.
