Former NXT star Sarray, known as Sareee in Japan, has confirmed reports from a couple of day ago that she is officially gone from WWE.
She held a press conference on Instagram Live today (March 13) to announce the news that she’ll be working as a freelancer from now on.
She did say that she had many valuable experiences working in WWE and has nothing but gratitude for her time there.
She specifically put over Tiffany Stratton – who she had some of her last matches with in NXT – as being a true professional even though she was so new to wrestling.
Taking to Twitter after the Instagram Live, she wrote:
No matter what some people might say, I did my best. I am so glad that I had the chance to go to WWE🙏✨
Thank you WWE
Thank you Sarray
Thank you WWE Universe ☀
She also announced a show called SareeeISM Chapter One for May 16 which will be her big return to the ring in Japan.
We wish Sareee all the very best with whatever her future holds.
