Update: Tatum Paxley has since provided an update on her condition. More at this link.
A WWE NXT star appeared to suffer an injury during their match at Saturday’s (August 6) NXT house show.
During the Gainesville, Florida live event, Tatum Paxley faced off against Sloane Jacobs in singles action.
The match was stopped and medical staff attended to Tatum after she was kicked in the face and her chin hit the ring post. Paxley reportedly appeared to have suffered a broken nose.
Paxley made her WWE TV debut in February during an NXT Level Up taping, after signing with the company in August 2021.
She notably wrestled WWE SmackDown star Natalya on the April 19 edition of NXT 2.0.
Paxley was part of the four-way bout for the vacant NXT Women’s Tag Team Title on the August 2 show, teaming with Ivy Nile to battle the teams of Valentina Feroz & Yulisa Leon, Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne and eventual winners Katana Chance & Kayden Carter.
We will continue to provide updates on Paxley’s condition as they become available.

#NXTGainesville Unfortunately we didn't get to see much of @TatumPaxley in action due to an injury. Hopefully it's not too serious. Special thanks to the official for quickly calling off the match. pic.twitter.com/5FmOiN7XHu
