A possible spoiler may have been revealed on Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara’s opponents for the September 6 edition of AEW Dynamite.
On the August 30 episode of AEW Dynamite, Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara had a tense confrontation following Jericho’s loss to Will Ospreay at AEW All In London.
After nearly coming to blows, Jericho suggested the reunion of the “Le Sex Gods” tag team to start their road to the AEW World Tag Team Championships.
Now, it seems like fans will know who will be the duo’s first opponents on their chase for gold.
During the AEW Rampage tapings (via PWInsider), Aussie Open were eliminated from the ROH Tag Team Battle Royale and went on to brawl with Jericho at the commentary desk until Sammy Guevara came out to make the save.
This makes sense due to Aussie Open’s association with Will Ospreay in United Empire and seemed to set up Kyle Fletcher and Mark Davis as the opponents for Jericho and Guevara on the September 6 episode of AEW Dynamite.
This bout has not been announced or confirmed as of the time of this writing.
A top AEW name believes Will Ospreay would be a great addition to the company, which you can read at this link.
