Potential Spoiler On WWE Survivor Series Plans

A potential spoiler has emerged on a fan favorite match type set to return at this year’s WWE Survivor Series.

SummerSlam hasonly just ended, but already looking ahead to WWE’s November premium live event, Survivor Series, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer has an interesting tidbit.

Responding to a question on Twitter, Meltzer revealed that while he doesn’t have confirmation, he is aware of WWE talent that believe the popular WarGames match will be included in Survivor Series again this year.

In 2022, WWE saw the debut of WarGames on the main roster after typically occurring in NXT, with the men’s match featuring The Bloodline (Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Solo Sikoa, and Sami Zayn) defeating Team Brawling Brutes (Sheamus, Ridge Holland, Butch, Drew McIntyre, and Kevin Owens).

The women’s WarGames match saw Team Belair (Bianca Belair, Alexa Bliss, Asuka, Mia Yim, and Becky Lynch) defeating Team Damage CTRL (Bayley, Dakota Kai, IYO SKY, Nikki Cross, and Rhea Ripley).

While War Games is always exciting, it is worth noting that as far as premium live events go, WWE still has Payback in September and Fastlane in October before Survivor Series comes around.
