While Brock Lesnar isn’t currently featured on WWE television, there also has never been a PLE in Saudi Arabia without him, until now.
Since WWE began running shows in Saudi Arabia in 2018, Brock Lesnar has appeared on each of the premium live events, however he is not announced for the upcoming November 4 edition of WWE Crown Jewel.
Now a report from PWInsider Elite (via ITR) reveals why, as sources within WWE have elaborated on why Lesnar is being reserved.
According to their report, PWInsider confirmed with multiple sources that Brock Lesnar is “not in the creative mix” for the event.
Sources noted that the company elected not to have a match for Lesnar at the event as there were already big plans on deck for the show.
With Roman Reigns vs LA Knight and appearances already announced for John Cena and Logan Paul, the venue nearly immediately sold out the available tickets.
With Michael Cole noting on SmackDown that more seats were becoming available for Crown Jewel and encouraging fans to continue to check back, it seems they’re having no trouble moving tickets without Brock Lesnar.
WWE sources instead noted that “it was best to save Lesnar for a future event in the market.”
The last time we saw Lesnar was at SummerSlam, where he lost to Cody Rhodes before then raising Rhodes’ hand in an unscripted moment.
Lesnar is on the official posted for WrestleMania 40 which takes place next April, but as of right now, isn’t being advertised for any other shows before then.
