Real Reason Triple H Introduced New WWE Title Belts WWE

The real reason why Chief Content Officer Triple H has introduced several new championship title belts has been revealed.

Several titles have been changed since WrestleMania, with a new World Heavyweight Championship introduced on Raw and WWE Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns receiving a new belt.

The women’s division’s singles titles are also new, with former Raw Women’s Champion Asuka now recognised as the WWE Women’s Champion, and ex-SmackDown Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley awarded the Women’s World Championship.

Per Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, multiple sources have confirmed that Triple H wanted to freshen up all the titles and present a new look.

WWE Senior Vice President of Live Events Road Dogg recently shared his honest thoughts on the new title belts, noting that Triple H has always wanted to keep things traditional.

Seth Rollins defeated AJ Styles to become the inaugural World Heavyweight Champion at Night of Champions 2023.

He’s set to defend the title twice on TV next week, hosting an open challenge on the June 19 edition of Raw, and putting the title on the line against Bron Breakker the next night on NXT Gold Rush.

Roman Reigns last defended the WWE Undisputed Universal Title at WrestleMania 39 in April, defeating Cody Rhodes following interference from Solo Sikoa.

Asuka became the last Raw Women’s Championship at Night of Champions, defeating Bianca Belair to win the gold.

Rhea Ripley had defeated Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania to win the SmackDown Women’s Title prior to its retirement.
