On September 21, WWE held it’s latest round of talent cuts, with many names from both the main roster and NXT being released from their contracts.
One name that was released was Dana Brooke, who had been appearing on NXT television in a storyline alongside her protégé Kelani Jordan.
Following Dana’s release, Jordan entered a program with Blair Davenport on NXT television, with her wrestling the biggest match in her young career on tonight’s No Mercy kick-off show against Davenport.
While Jordan didn’t pick up the victory, it was a great performance from her, and Dana has reacted to Jordan’s efforts on the show.
