Despite being one of AEW’s top stars and three-time world champion in the company, it seems as if Jon Moxley isn’t immune to a common mishap many dog owners will have experienced on numerous occasions.
That is misplacing their dog’s leash.
While this could have easily resulted in Moxley’s dog Benny not being walked, he instead took an unconventional approach, using some ingenuity to construct his own lead with a common piece of tech – that being a USB cable.
As revealed by Moxley’s wife, AEW announcer Renee Paquette, this is exactly what he would do and judging by the photographic evidence, it seems to have worked a treat.
Taking to Twitter, Paquette said:
Jon couldn’t find Bennys leash so he took him for a walk with a f’n USB cord
She then would upload a picture of Benny and the makeshift cord, with it seemingly doing the job that is certainly not its intended use.

Moxley has still yet to return to action in AEW after suffering a concussion on last month’s AEW Grand Slam in a International Championship match with Rey Fenix, with a rematch set to happen this past Wednesday on Dynamite head-to-head against NXT.
Moxley was still not cleared to compete on the show, however, his supposed creative plans have now been revealed – click here to find out more.
