An update has emerged on backstage plans for AEW Revolution, ahead of tonight’s pay-per-view.
The line-up for the show features many highly-anticipated matches that fans have found hard to predict.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), AEW held a company meeting on Saturday that was attended by a large portion of the AEW roster, including talent not booked for tonight’s event.
The report also stated that the finish to a prominent match on the card has changed ‘multiple times’. The report didn’t reveal the match in question.
Following reports that a former WWE star is set to debut at AEW Revolution, Fightful have now noted that the talent isn’t expected to wrestle in the Face of the Revolution ladder match, but is expected to appear for the promotion ‘imminently’. You can find out which star is reportedly set to join AEW tonight right here (spoilers ahead).
