UPDATE: A correction from the below report. Sapp is actually reporting that The Revival have not rejected their contracts, they simply have not signed them yet.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful has reported that the Revival duo of Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder have both rejected the latest contract offer from WWE.
Both men asked for their release earlier this year, and despite several attempts from WWE to lure them in with bigger and bigger contracts, it seems they are set on leaving.
Unlike other acts that have indicated their intention of leaving, the Revival have been used on TV frequently, and recently captured the Raw tag team championships from Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins.
On this week’s Raw, they aligned themselves further with Shane McMahon, so it looks like they will be used as much as possible until their contracts expire in April 2020.
Sapp reported this latest development while discussing Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, another tag act that has indicated that they will not be re-signing with WWE when their contracts expire later in 2019.
The state of WWE’s tag division has seemingly left a number of acts feeling as though out of the door is the only way to go, and no amount of money is going to stop that from happening.
