**Update: Road Dogg has reportedly been named the Senior Vice President of Live Events, replacing Jeff Jarrett, who departed the company last night**
WWE Hall of Famer Road Dogg was released from WWE back in January of this year, when WWE had dismantled the team that Triple H assembled for the Black and Gold era of NXT.
With Vince McMahon retiring from WWE and Triple H taking over, many had speculated that Road Dogg (Brian James) could return to the company under the Triple H regime.
Per PWInsider, Road Dogg has in fact returned to the company in an executive position. It has not been confirmed what his position is, or when he is set to start his new role.
Road Dogg was obviously a part of Triple H’s inner circle, and is the first name from Triple H’s circle that was let go to be brought back.
Road Dogg is obviously associated with WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett, who was announced to have officially left the company last Friday.
