Ric Flair Claims The Ultimate Warrior Should Not Be In The Hall Of Fame WWE

The WWE Hall of Fame is full of some of the most legendary stars in the history of WWE, with most names earning their spot among the immoral stars in company history.

Ric Flair managed to be inducted into the hall twice, once alone and once as a member of the Four Horsemen, but who in the hall does Flair think doesn’t deserve to be there?

The Ultimate Warrior is one of the more polarising figures in WWE history, and he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2014, before passing away just a few days later.

Flair spoke on his To Be The Man podcast, where he explained why he doesn’t believe Warrior should have been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

He said:

“I mean, here’s the deal, you hold up the company, then you sue them – which he [The Ultimate Warrior] did, and then you end up in the Hall of Fame… There’s a lot of people in the Hall of Fame that are there for – I can’t figure out any rhyme or reason why they would be other than political stuff is gone awry politically and they’re always wanting to heal damaged situations, which I admire them for.”

“But, it certainly doesn’t mean that someone needs to be in the Hall of Fame. To me that should be based on skill, ability and what you’ve done in the business,”

Flair and Warrior crossed paths in WWE back in 1991, where they had a few matches against each other, one of which Pat Patterson claimed to be the ‘worst championship match’ he’d ever seen.

Flair explained:

“We were in Winnipeg, Canada, I wrestled the Warrior and we came back. Pat Patterson said, ‘I have to tell you, that was the worst championship match I’ve ever seen.’ I said, ‘Pat, you don’t have to tell me. I was in it,’
