Ric Flair presented an AEW Champion with a pricey gift after his recent appearances on Dynamite and Rampage.
In backstage footage shared on social media by AEW, Ric Flair is seen gifting a pair of ‘two-thousand dollar’ sunglasses to Orange Cassidy.
This of course is in reference to a previous appearance by Ric Flair in an Orange Cassidy TikTok video where Cassidy had gifted Flair a pair of shades in another limited word exchange.
$2,000 is a relatively expensive gift for a near perfect stranger but now Orange Cassidy can truly say he has ‘Ric Flair drip’, literally.
Flair has made several appearances in AEW alongside Sting in the lead up to Sting’s retirement at AEW Revolution in March 2024.
Flair recently reacted to online backlash over comments made in a promo taped for AEW Rampage.
Sting and Ric Flair’s segment still aired during Rampage although the line had been edited out of the broadcast version.
