Hall of Famer Ric Flair has named the current WWE star who he believes should be utilized better by the company.
One of the names still active today who had a connection to Flair on the roster over 20 years ago is Randy Orton.
Orton was aligned with Flair in the Evolution stable alongside Triple H and Batista, with Flair playing something of a mentor role to Orton who was still in his 20s.
To this day, Flair still speaks highly of Orton, including in a new interiew on the Doubl3 Coverage podcast, which saw Flair praise Orton and question how WWE has been using him.
He said:
“Randy is the best male worker in the company right now. They don’t utilize him the way I would if I was the booker, but I’m not.
“He can still work his ass off. But he’s making a lot of money, he’s doing good, he’s happy, and that’s all that matters.”
