Report: Roman Reigns ‘Very Heated’ Following Survivor Series Spot WWE

UPDATE: There has been an update regarding the relationship between Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens after Survivor Series WarGames. You can read more about that by clicking here.

WWE officially brought WarGames to the main roster on Saturday night, with two of the titular matches at Survivor Series WarGames.

The main event of the show saw the Bloodline take on The Brawling Brutes, Drew McIntyre and Kevin Owens, with Sami Zayn pledging his allegiance to the Bloodline to score them the win.

Despite picking up the victory, the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion did not leave the match in a good mood.

Per Fightful Select (subscription required), Roman Reigns was ‘visibly upset’ following the WarGames match.

Reigns’ anger came after one specific spot in the match, which was rumored by those that spoke to Fightful to be what he perceived as an unplanned spot between himself and Kevin Owens.

Reigns mentioned a potential ruptured ear drum as he returned backstage following the match, and he wanted the spot to go as originally planned.

Reigns’ exclamation was said to have been ‘expletive filled’, with it being clear to everyone that Reigns wasn’t happy.

Those that spoke with Fightful didn’t believe there would be any extended heat in regards to the situation, and that it seemed like more of a ‘heat of the moment’ reaction, but noted that was only their perception of the events.

Fightful hasn’t heard of a physical altercation following the event, and the talent that Fightful heard from said that they expect the two to be able to coexist for work purposes.

Another put over both Reigns and Owens as passionate about what they do, and believed that if there were issues, they’d end up talking about them directly.

Reigns did not appear at the Survivor Series post-show press conference as originally planned.
