Interesting Backstage News On Roman Reigns Vs. LA Knight WWE Crown Jewel Match

In backstage news from WWE Crown Jewel 2023 from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia there has been a report regarding the producers for the night’s matches.

There was a particularly interesting note regarding the Roman Reigns vs LA Knight match.

According to Fightful Select, Michael Hayes – who is typically the backstage producer for all Bloodline segments and matches – was not in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for today’s event.

Instead, Roman Reigns’ successful title defense against LA Knight was produced by Chris Park (Abyss) and Shane Helms (The Hurricane).

Abyss was also on duty for the WWE World Heavyweight title bout featuring Seth Rollins’ successful defense against Drew McIntyre.

For his part, Shane Helms was also listed as the producer for Logan Paul’s United States Championship victory over Rey Mysterio as well, as is usually the case, as Helms has had a big part to play in Paul’s WWE training.

Also listed as a producer for Crown Jewel 2023, on-screen Raw General Manager Adam Pearce produced John Cena versus Solo Sikoa, which Sikoa won definitively.

Jamie Noble was listed as producing Cody Rhodes’ victory over Damian Priest.

In WWE women’s division action, TJ Wilson (Tyson Kidd) and Jason Jordan were listed as producers for the WWE Women’s World Championship match where Rhea Ripley was able to retain her championship against Nia Jax, Zoey Stark, Shayna Baszler and Raquel Rodriguez.

Shawn Daivari was the producer listed for IYO SKY retaining her WWE Women’s Championship over Bianca Belair, a match that also featured the return of Kairi Sane.
