Sasha Banks’ first public appearance since her WWE walk-out has been announced.
Banks will be at the upcoming Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo (C2E2). She is slated to appear on both August 6 and 7, with fans able to book photo and autograph opportunities with the former Women’s Champion.
Banks is billed under her real name, Mercedes Varnado, with her graphic referencing her ‘”Sasha Banks” & The Mandalorian” work.
The star hasn’t appeared on WWE TV since walking out on the May 16 edition of WWE Raw with Naomi. The two stars were suspended and stripped of the Women’s Tag Team Championship later that week.
A recent report revealed that Banks and Naomi have been removed from the internal WWE roster, possibly indicating that they have finished up with the company.
While Banks has been spotted in public since the walk-out, this is her biggest announced appearance since appearing on WWE TV.
We will continue to provide updates on the situation as they become available.
Not including Banks or Naomi, over 20 names have left WWE this year so far. Stay up to date with every WWE departure of 2022 using our tracker at this link.
