Another WWE Star Set For Character Overhaul

Another WWE Star Set For Character Overhaul WWE

A WWE star has suggested a major character shake-up is on the way following his actions on this week’s NXT (July 18).

SCRYPTS (formerly known as Reggie) turned heads this week when he turned his back on tag partner Axiom mid-way through their match against the debuting team of Bronco Nima and Lucien Price.

This seemingly set up a brand new faction on Tuesday nights in the process and now SCRYPTS has suggested this allegiance will also spell a new beginning for the former 24/7 Champion.

Taking to Twitter, SCRYPTS wrote:

No more sommelier guy, no more 24/7 guy, no more Reggie, no more being disrespected by people that take me for granted..no more damn Mr nice guy.

I’m Going back to my roots #314made #stlmade #streets

So, it seems this change will be firmly in line with what we’ve seen of Nima and Price’s presentation thus far, providing a far different approach to previous iterations of SCRYPTS’ WWE character which, as he suggested, leaned to the sillier side.

SCRYPTS’ time under his current gimmick has been fairly short-lived, only re-debuting under his new moniker in November 2022, under a mask, and only unmasking again as recently as May.

The heel turn was not the only surprising occurrence on NXT this week as Raw’s Dominik Mysterio brought the 269-day North American Championship reign of Wes Lee to an end.

While Lee will likely seek a rematch against ‘Dirty’ Dom, there may be another name set to jump the queue before him – click here to find out who that is.
