Seth Rollins Admits He ‘Hated’ Riddle For A Long Time

Seth Rollins referenced his previous legitimate heat with Riddle following Monday’s (July 18) edition of WWE Raw.

On the show, Rollins attacked Riddle, delivering two Stomps to the popular star. It has been confirmed that Rollins and Riddle will face off at SummerSlam.

On Twitter, Rollins touched on the real-life animosity between himself and the former Raw Tag Team Champion, writing:

I’ve hated this guy for a long time. Nashville is gonna be a reckoning. #SummerSlam #RollinsvsRiddle

In 2020, Riddle’s then-wife Lisa took to Instagram to make comments about Becky Lynch’s body in a now-deleted post. Following this, Rollins, Lynch’s husband, stated that he had no interest in working with Riddle.

In an interview in June 2021, Riddle noted that he and Rollins talked about the situation in private after Survivor Series 2020.

Riddle and Lisa got divorced earlier this year in March.

Also on Monday’s episode of WWE Raw, it was confirmed that Logan Paul will face The Miz at SummerSlam, and Becky Lynch will challenge for Bianca Belair’s Raw Women’s Championship at the same show.

In the main event of the June 30 premium live event, Roman Reigns will defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Brock Lesnar in a Last Man Standing match.
