With the 2022 Royal Rumble matches in the books, several stars were on hand as ‘alternates’ in case some of the announced participants were unable to make the match.
Fightful Select (subscription required) is reporting that Raw stars Apollo Crews, Shelton Benjamin, Cedric Alexander and R-Truth were in town as alternates for the men’s Royal Rumble.
As for the women’s Royal Rumble, Fightful confirmed the previous report that Aksana and Jillian Hall were present as alternates, with the two taking pictures at the venue for social media.
Fightful also notes that former Diva’s Champion Kaitlyn was present, although they were unsure if she was there as an alternate or not.
