Last night’s (June 23) episode of WWE SmackDown saw the crowning of new Undisputed Women’s Tag Team Champions, when Shayna Baszler and Ronda Rousey defeated Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn to become the new champions.
The match saw the unification of the WWE and NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships, with Ronda and Shayna submitting both Isla and Alba simultaneously to win the titles.
Taking to Twitter after the show, Shayna hit back at fans who claimed that Rousey ‘can’t wrestle’.
She wrote:
“You can’t wrestle” says twitter rando who doesn’t know the difference between a whizzer & a double leg. Don’t cry too much, your mom’s basement has bad drainage.
Ronda and Shayna were confronted by Raquel Rodriguez and the returning Liv Morgan after the match, with Liv and Raquel challenging them to a match for the titles they never lost.
The championship match has been made official for WWE Money In The Bank next Saturday in London.
