Shayna Baszler has commented after turning on her tag partner Ronda Rousey at tonight’s WWE Money in the Bank.
With Shayna Baszler being questioned in a backstage interview with Megan Morant, she clearly declined to comment, rather staying silent on the issue.
Triple H spoke at the post-Money in the Bank press conference about the turn of events during the Women’s Tag Team Championship match.
Triple H said:
“Shayna Baszler, don’t know what that’s all about but we’ll get to the bottom of it.”
Finally Baszler has weighed in herself, well sort of.
Taking to Twitter after her segment with Rousey, Baszler wrote:
“Let the Galaxy burn”
Baszler turning on Rousey paved the way for Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez to regain the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
It has been known that there were plans for a Rousey vs Baszler feud sometime soon, and that Rousey would be taking some time off soon so WWE wanted to get it done before that time comes, hence why there was no time wasted in Rousey and Baszler winning the championship when it was initially vacated by Rodriguez and Morgan in May, and then dropping it back to them here.
In the post-show press conference, Morgan and Rodriguez said they’d defend against teams from any brand, including NXT.
