Sheamus WWE Return Update

Sheamus hasn’t been on WWE television since August 2023 but looks set to be making a comeback in the very near future.

On the April 8 episode of Raw, a vignette played hyping the return of Sheamus (and can be seen below this news story).

According to Fightful Select, it appears that Sheamus will be returning after the upcoming WWE Draft. Fightful reports:

We’re told that it’s possible that Sheamus may not return until the week of the draft, or won’t have a defined brand until then.

The WWE Draft will take place, as previously reported, on the April 26 episode of SmackDown and the April 29 episode of WWE Raw.

In his absence, it’s been all change for the Brawling Brutes, with Pete Dunne now teaming with Tyler Bate as New Catch Republic.

Meanwhile Ridge Holland has found his way to NXT and recently “retired” as part of his ongoing redemption storyline, although he attacked Joe Gacy at Stand & Deliver and will explain his actions on NXT this week.

Sheamus’ last match in WWE saw him lose to Edge on the August 18, 2023, episode of SmackDown.
