Potential Spoiler On Change To WrestleMania 39 Match

Potential Spoiler On Change To WrestleMania 39 Match WWE

WWE’s booking of it’s women’s division has recently been put on blast by former Smackdown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey, who called out WWE’s creative decision makers for the failure of her feud with Liv Morgan last year.

While this post may tell us that Rousey is far from pleased with WWE at present, she’s still got a match at next weekend’s WrestleMania to contend with.

That match being the WrestleMania women’s showcase four-way tag match.

The contest is set to see Rousey and Shayna Baszler take on Natalya and Shotzi, Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan and one final team, which had yet to be revealed.

While WWE had not yet made an announcement of such, PWInsider Elite (subscription required) has revealed who the final contestants are set to be.

According to PWInsider’s report the final spots will go to Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville.

If true, this would be Chelsea Green’s third different tag-team partner in recent weeks, having formed a short-lived alliance with Carmella as well as Piper Niven on last week’s March 20 Raw.

Previous reports stated that Green and Carmella were set to compete in the WrestleMania showcase, so plans for the match’s line-up have changed since it was announced.

Carmella was absent with no explanation from last week’s episode of Raw, hence why Green teamed with Niven instead against Bianca Belair and Asuka.

It was hinted last week that Green wanted to be in the Mania match but she didn’t say who her partner would be, so it seems WWE has made the decision to go with Deville.

Why and how Chelsea and Sonya will end up paired together remains to be seen, however expect some kind of explanation on this week’s WWE programming.
