Ever since Roman Reigns became the WWE Universal Champion in 2020, and began branding himself as the ‘Head of the Table’, providing for his family, fans have eagerly awaited a potential encounter with his cousin Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, whoever he is.
The Rock spoke about his cousin’s reign recently, where he acknowledged the Tribal Chief, praising him and the Usos’ work on SmackDown, but that appears to be where he draws the line.
The Rock spoke to E! News’ The Roundtable ahead of the release of his new Black Adam movie, where he was asked just who is really the head of the table.
The Rock said:
“Who is head of the table? Without saying any names, you’re looking into his eyes right now,”
The Rock was then asked if he wanted to go ahead and confirm that he would be wrestling Roman Reigns at WrestleMania next year, to which he said:
“I am not confirming that at all. No. No, I am not. I know I’m going to get a text from him after he watches this.”
The Rock’s movie Black Adam is set to release on October 21 in theatres.
While both Reigns and The Rock claim to be the head of the table, Logan Paul believes that he IS the table, as he looks to take the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship from Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia next month.
