The Rock To Be In Toronto At Same Time As AEW

WWE legend Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is set to be in Toronto, Canada on the same night as an upcoming AEW event.

AEW will make its Canada debut on October 12, with a live episode of Dynamite. The following night, AEW will tape matches for the October 14 episode of Rampage. Both tapings will take place at the Coca-Cola Coliseum.

The Rock has now revealed that he’ll also be in Toronto on October 13, as part of his global tour to promote his upcoming DC Black Adam film. The former WWE Champion will visit the Rec Room for an advanced screening of the movie.

The Coca-Cola Coliseum and the Rec Room are around 1.5 miles away from one another.

The Great One has acknowledged AEW on several occasions, recently pitching a match against two current AEW stars.

While The Rock is reportedly set to main event WWE WrestleMania 39 in 2023, some fans have already speculated that the popular star could show his face backstage at the AEW taping.

2022 has been a crazy year, at this point anything is possible.

Black Adam will release to general audiences on October 21.

Ahead of The Rock’s scheduled clash with Roman Reigns next year, WWE has reportedly been dealing with a ‘complex’ situation regarding the booking of the company’s world titles.
