A ‘dream match’ has been announced for tonight’s (October 21) episode of AEW Collision.
Yesterday, Tony Khan took to Twitter ahead of AEW Rampage, where he teased that a ‘dream match’ would be announced for Collision on October 21.
We now know what match Khan was referring to, as he announced that, for the first time in AEW, Bryan Danielson will face off against Andrade El Idolo.
Discussing the match, he wrote:
Tomorrow, 10/21 Live in Memphis @FedExForum Saturday Night #AEWCollision 8pm ET/7pm CT on TNT
Dream Match @AndradeElIdolo vs @bryandanielson
Both men have asked for the best competition, & now they collide for the first time in AEW TOMORROW: Andrade El Idolo vs Bryan Danielson!
Andrade last appeared on Collision on September 30, when he defeated Juice Robinson.
Bryan main evented last week’s Collision show, coming up short against Christian Cage in a TNT Championship match.
Also set for the show is an AEW World Tag Team Championship match, with Ricky Starks and Big Bill defending against Wheeler Yuta and Claudio Castagnoli.
